Let’s talk about your FITS for your session! One of the questions students often ask is “how many outfits should we choose?” While most people choose 1 or 2 outfits for your session, the real answer is: IT’S YOUR HOUR! WEAR AS MANY AS YOU LIKE! Just keep in mind every wardrobe change will use up about 7-10 minutes of your session, and plan accordingly! (Side note: We can also add more time on the front end of your session if you want, so shoot me a  text as soon as possible if that’s the route you want to go!) 

There are a few main categories of outfits ladies choose for their senior session: Jerseys and Jeans or Jorts, Tops with White pants, White Tops with Jeans, Light Dresses, and White Dresses.

If you have any questions about outfits, feel free to lay out the outfit on a chair or table, or send a mirror selfie for some quick feedback on how it will photograph! It’s much better to figure these things out BEFORE your session than DURING!

There is always the chance that weather conditions on the day of your shoot may cause us to reschedule. I limit the number of sessions I take on each spring to make sure you have PLENTY of availability for reschedules!

I track weather forecasts pretty closely during Grad Season each spring, so I’ll be in touch as your shoot gets closer. If it’s down to the wire on whether or not the weather is gonna mess up our plans, a rescheduling notice will be sent out via text the morning of your shoot!

If you DO need to reschedule, you’ll receive a list of available dates to choose from, just like you did when you first booked a session! 

If it’s in the budget, yes. If not, take time in the weeks beforehand to experiment at home with how you would like your hair and makeup. Please note that as much as I love the natural look, I always advise you to AT MINIMUM wear tinted moisturizer, blush and mascara. You won’t believe what a difference it makes on camera.

Please only self-tan in one of two scenarios:

1. You have it done professionally about 2 days or 3 showers prior so that it has time to settle.

2. If you do it yourself, you follow the instructions explicitly.

If you don’t do the above in #2, it comes out looking orange and splotchy.

Your natural skin tone will always be more attractive than that outcome.

Again, only if your budget allows. Otherwise, I love a good clean, trimmed nail. If your nails are clean, without chipped polish, and trimmed, you are good to go.

No. Go shopping in your own closet first. And your BFF’s if they don’t mind! Always go to your favorite outfits first. Pick out two or three. I don’t care that you have worn them already.

*You shine when you feel good in your clothes. From there, you and I will go through and eliminate or add accordingly. And maybe you just need one thing new to make it all pop!

Your session is 1 to 2 hours long depending on which package you bought. If you are wearing multiple outfits, please know you will change behind a blanket. You won’t have time to go to the car to change. Rest assured, I hide you well behind a blanket while you change!

We shoot at sunset which I will give you the specific time upon booking.

Up to 10 friends. After that, you can add friends, but you’ll need more time.

$175 to add another half hour.

The Torero package includes 45 images that you can share on Social Media. You can print any image you like from your final gallery from the gallery store. You do not receive printing rights.

The Alcala package includes 45 images plus BONUS images. In this package, you receive BOTH the social media sized images AND the print sized images along with a Print Release so that you may print from your gallery or any other business of your choosing.
